Na prvom predavanju u sklopu Mapping the Unseen programa, Amir Hodžić i Slaven Crnić osvrnut će se na povijest i konceptualna ishodišta kvir teorije, a u razgovoru s publikom otvorit će teme kvira kao identiteta te aktivističke i umjetničke prakse.
Amir Hodžić, uz završeni dodiplomski studij sociologije u Zagrebu i postdiplomski interdisciplinarni program rodnih i kulturalnih studija u Budimpešti, zadnjih dvadesetak godina radi na pitanjima spolne/rodne ravnopravnosti, seksualnog i reproduktivnog zdravlja i prava, te LGBTIQ temama kroz istraživanja, edukacije, i aktivizam. Amir surađuje s različitim organizacijama i institucijama u Hrvatskoj, regiji i inozemstvu.
Slaven Crnić je doktorand rodnih studija na Srednjoeuropskom sveučilištu u Budimpešti i Beču (CEU) s istraživačkim fokusom na područja feminističke i kvir teorije te studija južnoslavenskih književnosti i kulture.

Amir Hodžić holds a BA in Sociology from the University of Zagreb, Croatia, and a MA in Gender and Culture Studies from the Central European University, Budapest, Hungary. For the past twenty years Amir has been involved in research, education and activism related to sex/gender equality, sexual and reproductive health and rights, and LGBTIQ issues. Amir works with and for various local, regional and international stakeholders.
Slaven Crnić is a doctoral student of gender studies at Central European University (CEU) with research focus on feminist and queer theory, and South Slavic literature and culture.
